Yes, you might have some bristle shedding during their initial outings. However, once you're past that, you're left with a set of brushes that will last for many years to come with proper care.
The only drawback we can see with these brushes is that they don't come with a case or storage system. This isn't a big deal (especially when you factor in their price), but it would have been a nice touch all the same.
